Examples

Complete the sentences with the verbs in the negative and the affirmative.
The verb is in brackets ( ) at the end of the sentence.

Use the negative first, the affirmative second e.g.:

Mary DOESN'T WORK in a bank, she WORKS in a school. (to work)

In questions the verb is in two parts:

DO John and Jane LIVE in London? (to live)

For yes and no answers, use the short answer:

Yes, SHE DOES.

No THEY DON'T.
