Over & Under

"Over" and "under" are used with lots of other words to make new ones: Here are some verbs which can take either and can be conjugated:

pay, staff, book, use, charge, fish, cook, work

Examples:
The French tend to undercook roast beef by Anglo-Saxon standards.
I'm afraid I have overcooked the souflé.
In this job we're overworked and underpaid.

"Over" and "under" are also used with other words, not all verbs, but in the following cases only one, over OR under, is corrrect.
