Using defining clauses:

Look at the two sentences at the top of the page.

Make a single sentence using the words at the bottom.
(There can be more than one answer)

Example (affirmative): I bought a car. It has a GPS.


The car I bought has a GPS.
The car that I bought has a GPS.
The car which I bought has a GPS.

Example (negative): Jane bought a new dress. It didn't suit her.

The new dress Jane bought didn't suit her.
The new dress that Jane bought didn't suit her.
The new dress which Jane bought didn't suit her.

Example (question): You picked some flowers. Were they for Mary?

Were the flowers you picked for Mary?
Were the flowers that you picked for Mary?
Were the flowers which you picked for Mary?
